I heard a rumor that the fireworks will be at Sara Park and not on the island this year for Winterfest. Hope this isn't true.
If so, watching from the water will suck!

I'm thinkin the wind is going to be kicking up Saturday night pretty hard. We're gonna park somewhere and tailgate.

Friday night at Sara park...Saturday off the point in Thompson's Bay.
No fireworks on Sunday at all.
I'm almost positive that's the schedule.

Thanks for the help.
I may cancel my overpriced hotel room then. Nautical must still think it's on the island with what they are charging.

That event has been going down hill year after year, Compaired to a few years ago. It's not even worth going to anymore. :(

Bring some good binoculars if you go on the island to watch because they are moving to Sara Park and possibly charging for parking, what a crock of s--t, typical of whats going on in Havasu. NSF :2purples: :2purples:

Where is Sara Park? Is it far away from the water (channel & bay)?

Based on an e-mail from the Western Pyrotechnical Association, they temselves prefer it be at SARA Park as the Island, for some reason, is a logistical nightmare for them. Don't shoot the messenger, just relaying what I saw in an e-mail from them.

 Im sure they would rather do it at Sara, They are all ready set up doing there demo's. It's alot of work to move it all and re-set up on the island
