How do I hi-lite a certain part of a previous statement to show up in my Quote?

There are "buttons" at the top of the screen, just below the Font, Size and Color bars.
The far left B button is to make text bold. Highlight the text, move the arrow over to the B button and press it.
The quote button is on the far right, highlight the text you want to quote, and press the
quote button.

I just hit the quote button and delete anything that I don't want to be in the quote. I can also add things like below.
