Finally got my HTM back from the glass guys. Looks pretty good so far. But, still have lot's of work to do. Just wanted to say a quick thanks to many of you that have helped me locate parts.
Unfortunately w/ out HTM helping me the strakes and the nose of the boat do not look exactly the same. There will also be some other items that aren't perfect, but it'll have to do. The glass work was all done with the lastest glass technology. I'm very confident in it's ability to "stay together". :D
The media forum is down right now,so i'll try to post some pics later for you guys to see. The before pics are under "HTM crash" on the forum graphics pic section.
Sorry for the long post, but i'm excited to have a "powerboat". And i want to share it w/ you guys.
thanks.

Congrats Steve :D
Since HTM gave you the cold shoulder about repairs. If the performances increases from what you have done, tell them to eat shit and die if they ask you about it.
Thanks for getting your boat out of our way. HA LOL

HTM did not want the boat rebuilt do to possible structural problems
That hull had extensive damage and my not be safe don’t blame them for not wanting the liability
Steve don’t blame HTM for being concerned with the safety of that hull some one could DI if it comes apart
Steve good luck and be safe but don’t chop HTM they are good people

I never said ANYTHING "bad" about HTM. I love this boat.
As far as structural strength. Thats why i had this particular person repair it. He's a boat builder, and only used the best stuff available. He told me he would not have a problem at all running over 100mph in this boat. It's actually stronger now than before!
PICS coming soon.
Mike you have a PM....thanks

RiverDave:
Ya know what...
**** itIt's not even worth it.
Mike long story short is HTM ****ed Steve in the ass and he's to big of a man to chop em for it.
If I was him I'd be so ****ing furious that I'd honestly would go down to HTM and rip the ****ing switch panel right out of one of there boats.
RDDave you think you know the truth but you don’t

Mike, HTM seems to be touchy subject in the forum for some people. Personally I love the boat but I did get a lot of warnings about buying it. I just took it out today at Elsinore. I'm loving it. Steve if you wouldn't mind I'd love to hear your story. Having mine about two weeks I'd love to know what to expect if I ever need it serviced. Beside the repair, have you ever gone had it serviced there? Who did you end up using this time.

I do have to agree with mike about the good people part. When I was shopping for a boat I did go to some jerks that made it seem like they were doing me a favor selling me one of there boats. So far nothing bad to say about them, and hope that never changes.
Steve who did you deal with at HTM?
Sorry to hear about your experience.

Playtime, i don't wish to get into anything on this board. I did not purchase this boat new! If you'd like to chat w/ me. Call me. My number is on my profile. Or you can have mike forward his PM to you. that's okay also.
RD, knows EXACTLY what is goin on. He's been a huge help to me. locating places, parts, etc.
I totally understand everyones side, and all i want is to show off my boat, and have a good time!

Mike, thanks for the pic. Keep in mind our pad was made without knowledge of the original shape. Wyatt told me he had talked to them and they wouldn't even help him at all. But, it does look like they got pretty close. It should run just fine!
