1978 General Marine (Ranger) Renegade 18' Jet Boat Powered by 300hp Small Block Chevy w/ Jacuzzi WJ pump w/ Alum B impeller. Thru-Hull Exhaust, dual marine battery system. Alum saddle fuel tanks. Auto Meter Pro-Comp gauges (oil pres, alt, h2o temp, fuel and 10K RPM recall Monster Tach) wiring harness all above new or fresh rebuilt with less than 30 hrs run time. Runs strong and starts up everytime easily. Just checked plugs and changed oil, ready for next season. Pretty much add gas and go.
Bought another boat and need to make room for it.

Its a year new and a foot longer, this one should have a big block in it when I am finished unless I find a blower for my sbc on ebay.
Its a theft recovery from over a year ago, and it breaks the guys heart to have to look at it everyday in front of his house.
The dash looks a little funky, so i guess I am going to repair whatever is wrong behind the metal plate work, add in some bitchin gauges. Maybe even a gps speedo and drop in a big block,....

Yeah, I added flames to cover the bow eye repair that was done through the deck before I got the boat. Here is a picture from the flames being put on.

So far looks like a 468 cui roller motor by Corner Marine (inside joke) in Orange. But looks to be a Big Block Chevy this time around.
The American Turbine pump is pushing an "A" impeller. It has something I've never seen, thought it had a place diverter but its an off brand "Clippard" out of Cinci Ohio, anyone ever heard of it, still gotta change out the lines to AN, got the cheap plastic lines which are already busted.
I gotta get all my numbers down, valve sizes in the heads and piston sizes and stroke so I can find the right cam cut. Other than that it seems to be going along pretty good. Just got to win that lottery or find that sugar momma.

Can the blue flames be taken off with out damaging the hull? What work needs to be done to the bow to fix it and make it look like the original picture? I am asking for a friend of my whom is moving back here from Sweden in the summer.
BTW if you end up parting out the boat I get first dibs on the interior and G bowl if you have one.

Yeah the flames can be removed to problem they are just vinyl graphics, just peel'em and remove the sticky that remains.

Who's doing your work and what are they doing? I know a guy that knows a guy who knows something, not sure what it is he knows, but he will tell you what you want to here after a few beers.
Corner Lot Marine is a registered trade mark and works for beer and peanuts! all rights reserved Blaw blaw blaw,so on and so forth.
With CLM doing all this work for people I wounder when their shit will get done.

Mud lot marine, I think that qualifies as Danny's house(no offense), remember that big old "pond" just inside the gate and the area that could have been used for tractor pulls, that was some slick stuff. It had rained all night, an deeper he could charge ramp fees.
