Berkeley is BACK!!!

HMMMM, just got off the phone, and well, I had to question it, but as it turns out, Berkeley is now making jets again. Yes, from what the guy told me, IT IS BERKELEY. The new models are 12JR and 12JI.
The JI directly replaces the JC and JG, from the intake out (intake not included). They come with a Place diverter, manual with lever for $2600 brand new. They have a trade in, which you can get up to $500 for a real good JC or JG. He said something about the nozzle, but I couldn't write and listen that fast.
The JR is the race version and prepped and flowed. It sells for a whopping $5000 and both come in Berkeley white only. Damn, looks like something for next year.

You could spend 5k on a older JG that needed work and it will out perform the Berk Race pump. These are nice pumps and RR just got a JR, but if you look at the bowl, it isn't like a race bowl you would see at the drags. The exit veins are still thick, like stock, verses thin and sharp as a blade. The shoe is stock as well. I don't know about the impeller, or the clearences. I would spend 5k on tricking out my current pump before buying one that is a "Race" pump to only learn I still would need a lot more work to actaully get everything I can out of it. Oh, I also believe the JR comes with a stuffer verses the JI does not.

I just purchased the 12ji and had it blue printed at cp sent the bowl to walts had it flowed.Not sure how it runs yet because Im still waiting for my carb.Keep you posted
