We are trying to get a head count on who all is seriously considering attending the Powell trip Aug 4-8th this year. We might be able to score some discounted houseboats for cooking, bathroom facilities, and sleeping quarters for those who don't have the means to beach camp. In order to do this, we would like to get a head count and a yea or nay on wether there is an interest in dropping a couple of houseboats on the beach;
1. Mardonzi- 2 ppl, yes

Count the wife and I in. Houseboat doesn't matter to us, we're used to sleeping wherever we happen to be when the drink meter hits redline.

SBark, you ought to come along on this trip. If you want to drive up without the boat you can ride along with us. We'll be doing the scenic route by water and if you haven't seen Powell it's a trip worth doing.

All these hot boats together are gonna make one hell of a class photo. Cant wait to climb a hill and get 'em all in with Powell in the back ground.

Never been always wanted to now that we have a bigger boat. Anyone going up prior to the 4th or staying after the 8th? Really long haul like 700 miles so we would like to stay over a little longer if we can get away. Just the 2 of us so we really would not need a house boat. Would depend on how long we stay and where I imagine. Sure sounding like it would be a great trip to make.
Will be keeping up with this thread. Hopefully not just to watch what we will miss. :rolleyes: Looks like Powell may see some extra water this year then it has been getting.

Being as we live here, We will probably be heading up prior in the week (like the Monday before) to everyone showing up so we can secure a big enough beach and to accomodate everyone and to start hauling wood for TnB's Oink Roast. We'll make sure you have a good time,, We seem to be good at that. :)
