EC,
Sorry, no first hand knowledge, but I think I saw it in one of the magazines at some point. If I'm not mistaken that is a Mitcher T paint job and he does outstanding work. Check on the other boards, OSO and Speedwake. There seems to be mixed emotions about Profile boats depending on the year it was built.

Man that paint is a bit much for me. I dont know if its a new trend or not but i have been seeing a lot of boats at my local lake with full murals on them. mainly I think there kachina boats. I would think paint like that would make it hard to resale.

Nice boat, nice engine...If that boat would have been for sale last summer, it would be in my driveway.

Dragboats,
Sounds like you have done your homework. I talked to a guy at Havasu with a Profile and he was very happy with his boat buying decision.
Good Luck with your purchase!

A good deal is always worth the drive. Worst case you fly there and pull it back with a U-Haul truck. I always look in other states. Of course, I have bought 3 from CA.

After two trips to New York I brought back my 30. I could'nt find a true 30 out here that ran good with a single. All the 28's where 26 with a platform and 30's are 28 with platform ect. Mine is 31'7" overall.

yeah since when did a swim step count as the length of a boat. Im happy to say mine is not measured that way.

Since the Coast Guard required it. Only molded in platforms count. Bolt-on do not.

I guess you never know where you will find a deal on a boat, but I just got back from LOTO, looked at some boats out of curiosity while i was there and I didnt see anything I thought was a deal.

very pretty but i think it was restored in 99. it doesn't have a stepped hull and it looks like the swim step isn't molded in. I think thats why its so cheap specially in that condition and with that much cutom work. I would be willing to bet its an early 90's or late 80's boat that was redone.
