If its ballpoint pen ink it can be tough to get it all out.....I've used a small amount of thinner on a clean rag to get most of it off.....setting it out in sunlight will help fade some of it too.
Good luck

Go to your local grocery store, Most of them sell clothes dye. The one brand I know of is RIT. They have a spot remover that works great. Has taken pen ink out of my clothes after I sent a ballpoint into the wash.

Cheap hair spray, the cheaper the better.
Do a little spray on a cloth, wipe it on, see if it comes out.
Rinse with lots o' water.
Protect with your favorite protectant.

I used to think people were getting ink on my interiror until I found the cause for it. At Lake Mohave, Kateherines they have those trash bags for you at the ramp. They are covered with blue ink...turn them inside out before taking them on the boat. Could that be the ink source?
I found the same problem Tom. I've used oxyclean before when some one wore brand new red shorts and died my seat pink. Might help with ink...

We manufacture a product line called Dri Wash 'n Guard. We have been making this product for 15 years now. I have some distributors who have done this in front of me with a permanent market.
They take a white piece of leather and make a black marker line on it. Let it dry and use our Dri Wash 'n Guard Leather and Vinyl treatment with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it takes the marker off. I personally have seen it, but not tried it yet. It should work.
Let me know where you are located and I'll see who I have in the area to get you set up with some product if needed.

I second the cheap hairspray. It will take ink right out of clothes.

Check mowhawkfinishes.com, they used to supply me with ink remover pens, back when I did leather/vinyl repair. It worked great.
