I have a Yamaha gas cart that I am putting a 7" dual a-arm lift kit on. I would like to put 23" tires on it but I'm not sure if they'll rub with 4 passengers. Do you think I have enough room for 23's or should I go with the 22's?

I think you should be in the clear. We've done several 6" rear lifts using 24" tires, and have not had a problem with rubbing with people sitting on the back. This was on EZ GO carts, but I can not imagine it being much different than a Yamaha.
You might want to look or post this question over here (http://server1.buggiesunlimited.com/phpBB2/)

Wow there is a lot of good info. on that site. I think I'm gonna go with the 23's on 12" rims. I'll post pics of it when I do the lift. Right now it is all stock. Kinda like a canvas waiting to be painted. :D

the only problem you MAY have is that the Yamaha's have a funky rear swing arm set up and the other two do not. What happens is when you lift the rear it pushes the rear axle down and PULLS it foward making the clearence very close with 23's. I have the same type of dual A-arm 7-8" lift on the limo with 23" 489's. Its current getting ANOTHER 7" on top of the orig kit(its really unusable with 4-6 peeps cause it rubs.....when DRUNK  ). BUT you have to make and weld a new swingarm mounting position bracket to lower and relocate the r/arm back an inch or so. I get you some pics in the next weel or so when the limo is done.

So I guess I only have to worry about the back. Pics of the bracket would be great.

no issues at all in the front...and AFTER you get the back ALL PERFECT. SPOT weld the brackets that mount to the main frame, that support the cross member, those have a habit of moving around. this making the entire rear end shifting.

Thanks for the info. Tobe I'll def. do that. Also I think with the type of tires I'm gonna run it may give me a little more clearance since I'm gonna go with the carlisle all trail's. Gonna be on the street a lot with it so I figured they would last a little longer.

So my lift kit showed up today. Gonna try and install it this weekend. I was kinda of sketchy on ordering this kit cause it looked kinda wimpy in the pics I saw on they're website. After I unwrapped it I saw this is not the case.
L.A. concepts 7" dual A-Arm lift.

Here is a link to a site that I bought my tires from. Best price I could find. Included lugs, caps & shipping.

I just checked it out and it said it was $200 For shipping. There is a guy that is local to me that can get me the same setup for the same price.

Wow, you're right. When I bought mine from them a few months back, they did not charge for shipping. Sorry about the bad tip.

No problem I kinda figured thats what happened. The place I ordered the lift from has the same deal but they're in Florida so it takes a while to get them. There is a guy that is local to me that I'm waitng to get a call from that I'll probably use.

So I installed the lift today. Took about 2 hours. Looks kinda funny though since I haven't gotten the rims and tires yet.
