What are most of you guys aaaand gals using to seal your intake? I've been using Marine Tech, sometimes it'll last a couple years, sometimes a couple weeks. My product seems to britle and it cracks. We prep the area with 80 grit and then wipe it down with a degreaser to insure good adhesion. The boat does'nt leak real bad but I would not leave it in overnite.

We use 5200 sealant it seal anything and dry underwater but it will stick you and boat together and if you dont use all of the 5200 you can store it the ice box. It comes two colors white and black.

We use "sea goin poxy putty". One thing many people forget to do is sand (grind) away all the powdercoat from the intake.

Just reinstalled the intake into my Eliminator. Poxy-Putty is the way to go. Kind of a pain to use (gets everywhere if you're not careful, and extremely thick), but works. Be extremely careful putting the intake back in though. If you don't have it lined up right, I guarantee you will have to remove it and start all over!!! Good luck. P.S. Found a manufacturer of the stuff in SoCal. Let me know if you want the info, I'll send it to ya!!
