I've got Markel and they wanted $200 to take my Spectre out for 8 hours on New Years day. That's 8 hours from the time it left the garage to the time it was back in the Garage, 3 miles to launch ramp with a stop on the way to get fuel.
The lay up period is sure a big racket.
Since we haven't sold our Warlock yet we just took it out, it's insured year round.
Sounds like $100 is a good deal for the whole weekend.

DAH...........at 100.00 a month, set the policy up with a 12 month LAYUP and get it month to month for 100.00 per month  I can even afford that :notam:

thats when you can't make the distance to the green with your big stick and have to "lay-up" in front of it. ;)

What is a normal cost for insurance on a 26 ft.. cat. I just renewed my policy on my F26 and I am not sure they are "aware" it is a cat or how much horsepower it has but I only paid 650 for the year!

Everytime I think I want to trade in the 26 Stoker on a tunnel all I have to do is read these Ins. threads. I paid 360 a year for my old 22 SST and 600 for my new 26 SST and I can use it when I want too, this paying extra in the off season seems criminal.
