Just sold the boat

The guy just drove off with her. It was a very sad day. I asked the wife if we could keep it and she said no, I tried and she kept saying NO....
Maybe it is a good omen for the new owner. i picked up the boat almost 5 years ago to the day and it was pouring rain. I drove her home in the rain 124mile and then took her out the next day.
Wish the new owner the best and many years of happy boating.....
I actuallly sold the bought The second day I listed it almost 2 months ago.....

The 300x's are illegal on Tahoe. We have a cabin up there and we are in the same situation.
Kilrtoy, I felt the same way about the boat we just sold when it left on tuesday. It should be in Maryland now. But you have to look forward to fun times in the new one. :wink:

Congrats on the fast sale. I'm pretty sure we passed your "old boat" on 40 yesterday afternoon. It was heading out to the river, and we heading back. It in the hills east of Ludlow, so we weren't that close to it. I am pretty sure it was yours though.

You can thank your neighbor Mr. Wynn for the outboard ban on Tahoe. He pushed to get PWC's made illegal on the lake and in the process got all 2 strokes (I believe above 8 hp) banned from the lake. Funny thing is the last time I was up there I saw some Seadoo boats running around and I don't think the local cops know they have 2 stroke motors in them. The whole situation is screwed up.

Your right, good old steve there was just pissed off at the 2-stroke PWC's that where crossing back and forth across his lake front property so with all of his money and power he started the movement to make 2-strokes illegal on Lake Tahoe. There is a ton of the 4-stroke PWC's ripping around the lake now.......will PWC be next???.........then boats????
