You definately need the valve towards the front of the boat, you want to be able to get all of the n20 out. When it runs low, the hose will not pick it up, the front of the boat will lift and sometimes it will not spray correct.

Jake w2 you shouldnt run your bottle under 900 psi ether and mount the bottle with the valve facing the front.

Smalls I have one of Brians(SB Products) NOS brackts and had a flat mount like you have in the pic, Brian was nice enough to make a stringer mount for me and trade out the flat mount. But it was backwards probely some miscomunication on my part. But Brian being a good guy will make it rite for me. :rollside: Very nice flat and I have read it runs good to.

Runs good?
That boat made my ass PUCKER. We burned down a brandy new 10lb bottle last season.
When I got out of that boat I KNEW I would have a flat by the next season.

Incindently I made the stringer mount after boat guys started buying them up.
The flat base wasn't setup to be mounted on a stringer.
When I designed the stringer mount I didn't think of the mount being only left or right hand. Dammit. Happens sometimes.
Unfortunately the 50% chance that the "hand" Jake needed is not the hand I made, completely my fault actually.
I have to make more bases and set them up for the other hand.

Wrong it is harder to keep pressure up with the larger bottle. Bottle heaters work wonders. The most important thing is where the siphon tube is. You have to remove the valve from the bottle and orientate the tube where gravity can feed it. you can run your bottles vertical if you turn the tube around.
Hope this helps

it really sucks when you have no bottle heater and its 40 degrees out. my bottle is completely full and i have like 600psi. need 1100 for my compucar setup.
