396 with a Panther jet, and it goes 105!!! Nice. I'll have him build my next set up. :hammerhea

Someone should tell him that punctuation is free and comes with every keyboard. The way I'm reading this:
HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR TWO YEAR DUE TO NEW BABY BEEN SITING IN GARGE NO USE NEED SOME CLEANING
He's had a new unused dirty baby sitting in his garage for 2 years so he needs to sell the boat. :D

No wonder my boat only does 70. I need a 396, panther jet, and rusty headers. What was I thinking, using a 468 and a Berkeley? Oh yeah, I have been keeping mine clean too. Oops. :hammerhea Just think how much faster it would be with an Olds

It's all in the Velocity Stack and Street Scoop Combo , don't you guys know those two should only be used together by Trained Race Boat Drivers !! :D

don't forget JC Whitney, then you too can have a tach like his. I bet that's worth 15 MPH right there.

I think the ad is a mis print (along with the seller). Top speed would be GPS at 10.5 mph. I like the pride of ownership factor. Dust and Rust. Looks like it was berthed at Lake Tijuana. :220v: :220v:

If you're talking about the one on the deck, it's the most valuable part of the boat! The Sun SuperTach SST-802 is getting more and more valuable. Just happen to have 2 here, with the the NOS tach going in the roadster.

Boat has been sitting in a garage in New Jersey for 2 years, has Pennsylvania reg #'s, he "needs to sell it fast", and it has been used "on the ocean and bay" (Salt water through the jet and motor??), Then he makes the statement in a question response that "I own this"?
Can anyone say "HOT" BOAT!!!? This one sounds like trouble, IMHO.

If you look close you will see why it's so fast, the speedo hose must of been hooked up to the pumps nozzle becouse at 105mph it blew right off. The hose is hanging there in space. :hammerhea

Just think, I was about to waste money on a new intake and o/t headers when all I really need is a dirty baby in the garage to achieve maximum speed.
who'd a thunk it?

OK, point taken. Just please don't mount one on the deck of your boat.
I had one of those in my first car. '68 Opel lol, that was a real screamer.

Gotta agree with you about mounting it on the deck.... just because it CAN be done, doesn't mean it SHOULD! My parents had 2 Opels.... a station wagon (yeesh), and a GT. It's a little known fact that you could actually do it in an Opel GT.Not real comfortable, but hey........
