Spanking updates.....
As of yesterday, we have close to ten boats.
Uncle Tony rests atop the heap
HB with my new 300X holding close secomd(but I'm still in break-in mode and busting out a bigger wheel tomorrow)
Wicky rounds the top three.
Couple of BBlocks here, but not fast boats, just really nice cruisers.
Some REALLY fast boats arrived last night, Wicky's new equipment arrives in the morning...
No doubt the order below UT will change.

Funny how it suddenly got quiet in here! I don't think you are gonna see any "squirtguns" even approach 100 this weekend. I take that back, Aren't the jet-ski world finals this week? ........Should be the fastest jets on the water this weekend. My Lil' brother's pro-tec 1200 Yamaha will hit 74 on the stalker. I know the big boys in 1200 class should be doing WELL over that but just can't publicize it.

Hmmm, 5 grand to build a good runnin B/B or 20 grand for a overgrown weedeater. I think I will stick to my 68 MPH hot tub car boat that sounds like it has a real motor and have the extra cash http://free.***boat.net/ubb/cool.gif Besides that, I have seen alot of outboard with pull starters on top of em http://free.***boat.net/ubb/confused.gif , HUH, real motors dont have pull starters for back up http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif Im just kiddin around, to each his own. I guess its better floatin in any boat than cruisin the cooler at the dock all day.

Boatdrinks, those PWC numbers are a little conservative. Rius was touching 80 last year. This year? Who knows. Not only are the 1200's hittin 80 but they get there faster than anything I have ever seen. Ken Stuart, owner of Skat Trak used to have a tweaked Merc two stoke V6 in his chopped three wheeler built for drags and comp hill at Glamis. Rumor has it, that he's dropped that motor in a PWC. I haven't seen it yet but if I know Ken, it will be unreal.

WHat a week at Havasu!!!
First of all I would like to thank Barney for a years worth of hospitality bunched into one weeks time. Boatdrinks-sorry we never hooked up. Riverdave, if you plan op6 3 the week before BBSP#4 delay it one more week. I would like to be an op6 participant!! Well, for those of you who didn't make it to BBSP 3, the outboards baraged speed alley with nothin but triple digits!! Now, as I recall there were a few of you BB's that were going to dish out some spankings. What happened? Did you get lost? If you did, then you will have a chance to redeem yourself at BBSP#4 over the third weekend in April. That would be 4/20 weekend in laymens terms!! Next time there will be some sort of markers to show you where the turn-off is to speed alley. Loud and slow. That's not for me but, loud and fast(Ducati)! Now thats for me!! To each his own right?
As far as the women go at BBSP#3....We will let Barney elaborate on that!! He has all the right pictures and the term "Women" definitely is the case.

wicky i just missed you i finally found it after hooking up with hb at the sand bar and as i pulled out to go back to the sand bar you were pulling in couldnt find the alley at first just kept drivin by.i was in a aqua and black jet with headers and driving solo.Btw as for a ducati being fast and loud i've got a bad suzuki gsxr(fast and stealthy) that will give that ducati the ass whippin

I'm with you on the Suzuki. I had open class gsxr like that as well. 176mph. Did it frequently up here in Idaho when I had the bike. Bike was always tooooooo tempting. Can't get pulled over going fast on the water around here so, that is why I bought an
Allison. 100mph on the water keeps me OUT of trouble.

so was that you when i pulled out of speed alley.must be nice to ride in idaho when warm(roads and lack of cops).did see you racing while i was parked preety impressive for that weedwacker tried to get rivertoy jason to go but his wife said no.did get a mph on my boat from uncle tony was happy knowing i have a couple of mph to gain when i pull the baffles and bump the timing also put my power shot on today.when is #4.

No doubt it is not just about speed, 77charger as well as most OB guys are do it your-selfers, those that work on thiers and those that don't, getting what you can from what you got makes us the same.

was nice to meet you to havasu barney thanks for geeting me there although i did have a little trouble keeping up going down river but it was a fun ride.I thought i would see more jets but didnt.Like you said its all about fun,it was enjoyable since i hadnt been to havasu in 4 years.but i didnt have any probs with the motor i just rebuilt the weekend before(was all apart on fri)it ran good all weekend,and i was pleased with it.(now if i could get my wife to agree)well at least she let me go.all you out boarders are a great group of guys.

Hey Barney, nice boat bud. Why dont you come down to the lower river next season (Martinez & Fishers) and give us a try? You can stay at my place if you want. There are alot of good runnin boats down here and you have an invite to see the sites. Im not talkin trash but you might be surprised at the # of big boats down here like the Mach 26's and even a couple of small Scarabs. With those guys cruisin around your eggbeater should have NO prob avoiding the shallow stuff. If you and your buds are interested I can set up a bunch of fast hot tub car boats against the blenders. I think this would be a better chance for you guys to see some good runnin jets because its better (smoother) water and alot of us are in SanDiego so It can be kind of a half way point instead of us commin to you. Let me know what you or anyone else thinks.
