possiable on land or water, I se the Ijba going as fast as funny cars on the liquid qtr mile, guys runinng the salt flats at almost 500 mph RD what do you think??

I have absolutely no idea... LOL On Land, I sure wouldn't think it's possible though if you want my opinion. If it does start going to that level I think you'll see some pretty new ideas on tires / wheels. Something that will create less drag = friction / heat etc.. Then your text book round thing that just rolls.

The Thrust SSC project used solid aluminum wheels.
I'll bet it was rough at lower speeds.

Here are some numbers on the Thrust SSC.
0 - 600 mph in 16 seconds :D
Holds current speed record of 763 mph
Is currently being refitted with vintage Keystone wheels and fuzzy dice
