I have a 1999 Bravo 1 (1.5 ratio RH) w/shower (Eddie Marine shower cap style) for sale. The outdrive came off my 1999 270 Hallett with a 502/whipple. The boat has 560 hrs, however the outdrive has much less since it was rebuilt three yrs after the boat was purchased. I purchased the boat in 2005 and found out the drive was rebuilt from the Bravo shop in 2001 from the original owner. The Bravo shop performed their standard upgrade package (Hardened gears, etc) to handle the Whipple.
I recently purchased a new XR and installed it two weeks ago. The outdrive has no problems when I took it off, I just wanted to upgrade to straightcut gears and other items that the XR has going for itself. I plan on upgrading my motor soon.
My asking price is $1,750.00

Speaking of spares; If I had put a new XR on a supercharged big block in a heavy V-hull.......I would keep my good B-1 as a spare to drop off at Max Machine or The Bravo Shop to have built up stronger than an XR. If I ever broke the XR, that is. If the XR is already paid for, the B-1 would just collect dust in a corner until I or a friend needed it. Just an idea.

He would like to sell it to recoupe some costs. My Bro and I (along with the previous owner) are allways easy on the drive since it is a heavy boat. We never put the heat to it unless were moving along at a good pace. Also, with the whipple slowly adding boost to the motor/drive so I don't see a problem. Beside, I don't think it will go back on since we had to put a xr kit in the transom assy and the trim cyl also had to have spacers in it. I know if someone wants it all they need is a gasket kit and we'll even bring it to Havasu or close buy for a fellow hot boater. The bravo shop does good work as this drive has NEVER had a problem. Just fill with oil and Go!!
