It gets mounted on the bulkhead directly in front of the motor just like a radiator in a car. Radiator hoses hook to it just like a car as well. Don't know how well it works, just got it finished. Will be awhile before I can start the testing phase of the project.
How does it work? Short and ugly version: the unit has 30 plates. Half the plates will have hot water running through them, the other half will have cold water. If I calculated correctly at the beginning of the project it shoud work great, if not, a huge waste of time. I'm hoping for the working great one. It has turned out to be one of the more difficult projects I've done in some time.
