While I know not everyone agrees with my opinion on how to deal with the situation, I think there are some things we can agree on...America is the greatest nation in world...and we do not always do enough to show that is how we feel.
The only way to beat terrorism is by not allowing yourself to be taken hostage by fear. Fly your flags proudly...your house should look like the 4th of July!
Second...Give Blood!

3rd. Find out who did this and publically execute them, their followers, and anyone providing any support in any way to them.
We need to be as hard as diamonds on this issue. Softness will perpetuate more terrorism.

This Ben Ladin Character is lucky I'm not the prez... I think I'd send a bunch of "Froggy's" to bring him back alive to the whitehouse lawn, hold a press conference walk right up to him shoot him in the head then look at the camera's and say "problem solved." Might be considered irrational by some, but it definately would install a terrifying image to those who would consider doing something like this in the future.

Secondly, I never understood that with all of the immense military power, intelligence, and financial resources this country has, it can't find one guy. There is more going on than we know. How is it possible that this guy has eluded us for so many years? The easy way to solve the problem is to just go after and execute all of the terrorist groups, retired or active - involved or not.

they aren't sure where this one guy is because there are many that look just like him. As it was with Hussein, those people have a lot of lookalikes in different parts of their countries. Altering ones appearance isn't all that difficult.

We need to protect our own first. Kill second. The immediate heroes were the men who overtook the flight that went down in Pennsylvania. These men overtook the terrorists and purposely nose dive into the EARTH. They saved the white House or Air Force one and many more lives while sacrificing their own! These are heroes people.

first off, to coment on killing Bin Laden, he does not need to me murdered, he needs to be tortured, the sad thing is, I am sure he feels he has won already, alot of americans were killed and he has been said to congratulate the people who took resonsibility for this. And he is not the only one that needs to be killed, it is his group of rag heads that believe in this "die for their god" bullshit, and like Bush said, anyone that harbors it, I guarantee you, between V.P. Cheny, who is a bad mother fu@ker, and Bush, who has the power to "push the button" will do so, waging a full scale nuclear war on these countrys that are sheltering this f@ck face, up untill tonight, supposedly put Bin Laden under house arrest. All these people will pay in the months following.

Sandniggers? Come on...there is no need for that. As was said on a previous post...killing these people is the best thing you can do for them. When you believe you are fighting a holy war, the best thing that can happen to you is to die in the name of God.
Why can't we find him? That one is easy, up until this point he has had an entire country protecting him. Why not just invade the country? Because Clinton allowed us to become entangled in the worlds affairs. Rather than being a leader in the world, we were led by it. So with out the support of large countries like Russia, China, and even Eygypt and other moderate middles eastern countries our hands were tied.
Bush has done a lot to reverse that in the first year of his presidency, and is doing the right thing by getting the world community behind us. Only now can we march into an uncooperative country and take the people responsible for these acts and bring them to Justice.
Seriously...lets bring the intelligence of the conversation up just a notch from using slurs like Sandnigger. Or should we just start shooting anyone with a turbin on their head?

oh...and the public execution of those responsible...ALL FOR IT! How do you kill some one like that with out making them a martyr though? Do you really think any one like Kennedy or King jr. would be legendary in this country if they were not killed? Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't.
You have to think on their terms if you want to trully prevent something like this from happening again. It seems life in prison almost would be more of a disgrace, and you know he wouldn't last a year.

This is kind of long but well worth reading.
America: The Good Neighbor.
Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to A remarkable
editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television
commentator. What follows is the full text of his trenchant remarks as
printed in the Congressional Record:
"This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most
generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.
Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of
the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and
forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying
even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.
When France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who
propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the
streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it. When earthquakes hit distant
cities, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59
American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.
The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into
discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about
the decadent, warmongering Americans. I'd like to see just one of those
countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar
build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to
equal
the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? If so,
why don't they fly them? Why do all the International lines except Russia
fly American Planes?
Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the
moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk
about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American
technocracy, and you find men on the moon - not once, but several times -
and safely home again.
You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store
window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued
and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are
breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home
to spend here.
When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through
age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad
and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both
are still broke.
I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other
people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to
the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during
the San Francisco earthquake.
Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired
of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with
their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at
the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is
not one of those."
Stand proud, America!
