It's a solid boat with a new v-drive box, gauges, prop shaft seal (the good PSS one or whatever it is, packingless water cooled), new tires and wheel bearings on the trailer, and on and on. The gel needs a little TLC (probably would think about ditching the black, but it's all cosmetic, no structural problems).
Details, lets see, it's a '76 with a 468 Chevy that was originally built by Jeff Blosdale, Edelbrock aluminum heads, BDS 8:71, PFM Superchiller, Holley carbs, MSD marine box and distributor, new Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Dan Olsen oil cooler, Dooley oil pan, Gil/mercruiser exhaust, Art Carr 3 speed Turbo 400 tranny, fresh (as in under 12 trips) C-500 Casale box with 29* gears. Last time out she was running in the 80 mph range, and that was with the blower running straight up. Have a pulley to overdrive it a little but haven't had it on the water yet to see what she'll do.
Summer is right around the corner. Just fired her up the other day. After sitting for over a month, hit the starter, let it crank over a few times, hit the ignition and she fired right off.
I'm tired of looking at it and have other plans in the works. $28K or best offer for Hot Boat members. Takers?

I've got a question (no really, I do).
Is the "Desert Heat" name painted on the boat, or is it Vinyl??

It's actually done in the gel. I planned on ditching the black anyway so it wasn't an issue for me. ;)
