Theres going to be a problem with parking next to th rest. there only a few spots there, theres also a couple open parking spots along the dock walk next to the outer harbor its been busy there the last few weekends the security there will chain your boat to the dock if its parked in someones slip and they complain, im not trying to piss on the parade i just see this list growing and hope noone has any problems parking..derek

I might suggest that someone puts a call into the Springs and let them know a large group is coming and they will have an extra body or two working that day.
I know the poker run people are famous for scheduling events and planning a run on the Springs and they are under staffed. The management has asked that they get prior notice and they will have people there on the day of. :wink:

KEWL! Just the wife and I this time. Look forward to meet’n you all. We just took delivery of a new Warlock 27. We named it “Wicked Game” after a Chris Isaac song we spent many hours sweat’n to R first summer together. FYI, we were at Havasu Springs for lunch 2 Saturdays ago and there were plenty of open slips right in front of the restaurant. Don’t know what it’s like now though.

It was worth it just to watch Mel, Frenchie and Matt put the boat in the water. Honestly, that is worth the price into the park.

I Apologize about missing the lunchen , there was a bit of a problem at the springs launch pad there was no water on it , it was impossible for us to launch there we had to tow from the springs to the city each day to launch we usually leave the boat in my slip at the springs when im there weather permitting , after watching the hourly weather report online we decided to leave about 10 am on sat. i think i saw about 5 or 6 boats ripping toward the springs at the bend before copper, sounds like everybody had a good time...derek

I was at the springs by 10:30 CA time...... Gary, Frenchie, Nick, everybody was already there.... Only ones I saw coming down was a Magic deck (Buster?) and the white/red Warlock (Wicked game?)

It was great that many hooked up at the Springs. That worked out well. Better late than never. But many never showed at all. That is my only point. At 10:00am there were only five boats in Thompson Bay. We had a great time running up the river. Wicked Lavey was running awesome. Frenchie was weighted down quite a bit with personnel. Once at the Springs, it was nice to see some already there and more that showed up. That was great. I just didn't count the 26 boats that said they were showing up? Just an observation, nothing else.
There are many more to come this summer.

i am going to be honest hear and say that after watching it rain all day Friday I just didn't feel like towing the clean boat in rain.

Yep, me to. In the Bay at 10:00 and only saw Dan milling around. We just took of and went down to the springs and found all the other peeps already there. Next time we are going to get there earlier.

Great weekend here at the lake but the weather has gone downhill again. Wind sucks... Were still here anyway and will be thru Monday..
