They were testing the theory that you could clean out a truck full of hardened cement using dynomite... that truck was basically full of hardened cement. The dynomite couldn't touch it.... so they decided to blow it up.
I wish I had a job like that... :crossx:

Brown sugar.
Use brown sugar and water, spray it when you rod the cement off, and the cream will not cure, after the non- sprayed part is settin up, you and hose off the sugar part, and, walla, nice wash finnish. Works great.

My dad was a retired Teamster and drove a cement truck for 23 years....before I was born he was being guided across some tracks by a PG&E ( :jawdrop: ) guy and was hit by a train.......blew his truck to hell. He was hurt pretty bad as you can imagine but you should have seen the train too, if it had been anything other than a fully loaded cement rig, I wouldnt be here................. :jawdrop:

Bense, if a load of cement, still in a truck is in danger of setting up or if the truck breaks down with a full drum they will dump bags of sugar in it to keep the load from setting up. I believe a new drum for a mixer runs about 10,000 or more and chipping it out would take a couple of days.
