July ***boat of the Month

That 1980 23ft Sanger, the hot boat of the month in the July issue of ***boat, has got me curious. Does anyone know the name of the hull? Were there a lot of these built? I would love to see one in person. Love to find one to restore. I have been boating up and down the Colorado river for 15 years and cannot ever remember seeing a Sanger jet that big (23ft),with what looks like a lot of freeboard.

Don't know the name Sanger gave that hull but my dads friend bought one like it but it is an outboard. When new, they had to replace the deck twice because of blistering. His son still has it and has it kept at their place in Needles. I will get in touch with him and see if he can remember what it was called. It is the only one I have ever seen .

I think the 23 foot SAnger is called a Tahoe.
