Can a guy drive a 2005 Ford Thunderbird and still be Heterosexual?
My brother has had one of these on order since 2003 and now he doesn't want it. He will loose his $5K deposit if he doesn't buy it. If I buy it I can get it at his price of just over $32K total including the $5k deposit, current prices are around $38K. It's a brand new 2005 in black with both hard and soft tops. What do you all think?

That question is hillarious. I went to a party last week at by brothers house. His wife knows that gay guy, the hair dresser from extreme makeover. Well he comes rollin up about 8pm in a....guess what.
I think they are for women, gay men, and the older guys (50+) that think they are going to get some young tang. :D
edit, edit. They would be cool shaved, tinted, and dropped with dubs. But it is still a Ford.

My brother has one ( 2004 ) and loves it. He's done the exhaust, programmer and intake. Kinda cool little run around car.

It's possible but I won't ask him since I'll just assume he's GAY! That car screams FAG in any color :rollside:

The answer is ......NO!!
Remember in 1986 when you thought it would be cool to have a white convertable VW Rabbit???.......NO!!!
Unless you're gay, then that's cool.

Take it down on Rodeo Drive and see how many Turd Burglars start chasing you. If you don't get hit on, then buy it. You little savage.

Is it in writing that the deposit is non refundable???? If not........there is no way the dealership can stick him on it. IF it is in writing, he can still fight it. Or when the car arrives...........have him find a blemish on the car, interior or exterior or rim, and decline delivery. They will have to issue his deposit check back.

What convertibles are ok?
Viper
early corvette
early camero
Z8
Porsche Americana
Any others?
My wife wants a Solara convertible... I will only drive it if it has a kick ass stereo, lowered, and killer wheels... Even then only when she's a passenger...

Yes, it is in writing. He already rejected one that came in late last year because he didn't end up liking the automatic or something or other about it, not sure. In order to order another they wrote that up.
Like ROZ said what convertables are ok for a straight guy? I just moved to Snobsdale here in AZ and want to do some rich lady hunting. I ain't exactly handy with a wrench so the newer the better and would perfer something domestic (I know the Thunderbird is really a Jag, but you know what I mean). I can't really spend any more on something else so the new vette is out. What's left, a mustang?
Thanks!

It's not as high up on the gay scale as say a Miata, but it makes the list. ;)

you may want to check the AZ laws, call the DMV. In CA a dealer cannot refuse to return a deposit on an ordered car.
