I was at Pleasant today for about an hour and I couldn;t believe how full it was. A Ranger told me that this is one of the highest points since the new dam. The water is about 4' low from spilling over the spillway next to the 10 lane ramp.
Here are some pictures from the 10 lane.
There is a lot of debris/wood floating around, but it is much improved from last week.

This is where you make the turn to launch your boat at the 10 lane (next to the bathrooms)

Well, How is next weekend looking. I think it might be 80 deg. Do you think it is safe out there yet? I know there was alot of stuff floting around out there a few weeks ago. If anyone goes out, post howthe water is.

If we don't get any more huge rain, it should be getting better. I'd still cruise with a little extra caution and I don't know about any high speed runs :p I'm hoping to finally get out to Pleasant Sunday the 20th :)

Lake Pleasant has a lot of beaches with what we call "big sand" :D In other words rocks. I wouldn't beach my boat there. Lot's of coves to anchor in though. In the summer you can tie the boat off in about 3 feet of water, but that ain't an option now, cause you'll freeze to death getting to shore :p Guess you could use a raft for ferry duty!
