I need a hydrolic place diverter pump. Anyone know the best place to purchase just the pump? Can I convert a standard bennett pump with two silenoids in to a working place diverter pump? Any info would be appriciated!

I Was Told By Jim Coffey Of Jet Performance That You Need To Have Four Solenoids Or It Won't Work.

The pump is built by Bennett specifically for Place. Not the same solenoid configuration as for trim tabs. I can supply new if you need. Bennett also offers a pretty good warranty which you might try before buying a new one if your's just stopped working.

It is possible to use a trim pump from a Mercruiser, if you can find a used but good one. (If you go new, it would cost you as much or more than the original Place pump). You then have to reduce the bypass pressure on the up hydraulic line or you will burst the hydraulic tubes. (ask me how I know!)
