Just curious what your impressions were? Likes/dislikes? Speeds? Ride?
I heard they had a few problems with the motors due to water in the fuel.
Bummed I missed out on a ride.

Nice boat! Handles great. I love the auto bimini but they are still having problems with it closing. But that didn't stop me from putting my order in.

sweet! what power/options did you go with? It will be the hottest deck on the water this summer.

The boat looked great in person.
I wasn't sure how big it was based on pictures until I saw it parked next to a 28' deck boat.
That boat is a monster!(I can't wait to see them on the water)

I would love to see them parked next to each other in the water. From a 28' to a 30' doesn't sound like much, but standing on it at the boat show, it is a BIG boat. I wanna see how tall it sits in the water.

I would say it looks 2' bigger in every direction.(Width,Height, length)
Your going to need a couple Lemon farms to generate enough juice! I talked to a couple at the factory on Saturday that are scheduled to have one built and I believe it was right at $180K with the dual 496HO's.
It will be a great boat once they fix a couple of the new boat quirks.

I think alot of that big boat look comes from the 30 being built around twin motors. But you are right, it looks massive next to the 28. Wonder what speeds come with twin 496's? Anyone know? They will figure the auto bimini out, it's one of the selling points. Great looking boat but the 28 is still the hotrod. BTW what bottom is on the 30? The 28 is a Talon that is also the same as a conquest right? ;)

I work next to Long Beach Yacht Sales ,& they have a 2003 29' Magic repo right now . It's a mid cabin with a 496 mag they said .The salesman said it should go for the mid 40's .It's just to big for me & my burb.

The bottom is the same as the 28'. They got the 28 dialed in and just expanded or enlarged the same bottom. Each cat, 28, 30, 34, 44 share the same bottom design, just each is larger as you get to the 44.

I don't think they know yet. I think all they have had is big power in them up to this point. I figure the boat will do close to 80 w/ 496 HO's.
For what it's worth, good company and boats in my opinion.

I have the 28 DB which I love but when I saw the 30 sitting at the service shop last week the first thing I said was " Holy Crap, that's a big boat" it seems to dwarf the 28 which is big enough for me. It's tall and since I'm a little anal I can not imagine cleaning something that big or what to tow it with plus feeding two motors with fuel!! I'll keep mine thanks! NSF

That price just seems WAY out there.....you could get 2 of the 28' DB's for LESS money....how does that make any sense?

If you have a big family or like to entertain a lot of people, the Magic 30 deck might be for you. It is nothing like the 28 DB. No comparison. I think it is the sickest thing out right now. If you havent seen it in person, pictures just dont do it justice.

I spoke to Brett at the LA boat show and he said that the boat was going to base at $136k with 496ho's. So either that couple loaded it up with options or the initial price was incorrect.

I ordered mine minus motors and drives. I already have a teague900 and a #6 here at the house and I am going to have one more built. I just don't know my color scheme yet. I believe I paid $114,500. Give or take a few hundred.
