just bought a 04 28 daytona with twin 496 hos in wisconsin where i live the are cracking down on noise! it is 86dbs here. the dealer said these would help. i just want to make sure it wont hurt the performance. i dont need to quiet it down to much. i didnt think it was that loud! but when i do get stopped, and i know i will, i want them to see that i do have some thing in the pipe thanks

i tryed a pair last weekend and it help but not much dont know if ill be able to pass or not

I used to live in Illinios and always had problems with wisconsin The DNR. I had a 36 Daytona that I ran in castle rock. How fast will your daytona go.

i think i may have seen you down there. i had i yellow and red 26 daytona i ran the 28 in fla last weekend with 5 adults and half tanks we ran on gps 94 mph i didnt think that was bad for twin stock motors it should run upper 90s with me and my ten year old with less fuel.

I have the REX slip in , and lost about 150 rpm .The
sound is definately less sharp . Rex claims 10 dB
reduction.
