am i crazy? i have a 75 anthony 19.5 v hull which was equipped w an olds & a jacuzzi wj. the mild olds ran 60-61 on gps. i switched to a bbc which makes good power (11.8:1) good heads, etc. the fuel is not cheap but the boat runs 71 on gps. the bottom is almost feeler gauge flat & the intake seems to installed correctly. i have purchased a dominator bowl & impellar (A) and i'm in the process of machining the parts to assemble.
some have said the bowl/impellar wont improve performance because i didnt change the suction piece but the jacuzzi is actually larger and i have a pro loader ready to help with pressure if needed.
does anyone have experience w/this? will it help? my goal is 75 mph.
