I have 1 job opening for a Power Plant Operator. The Griffith Energy facility is located 15 minutes west of Kingman, and 45 minutes north of Lake Havasu and 45 minutes east of Bulllhead City.
This position works 12 hour rotating shifts, 7-12 hour shifts, then 7 days off.
Experience working as an operator in a power plant is not mandatory for this position since we have an operator training program in place. The operator training program allows advancement up to the shift supervisor position which currently pays in the $30+ range.
Starting pay with no experince is $19 an hour for a power plant operator trainee, more $$ depending on your qualifications. Job includes 120 hours vacation time first year, medical / dental plan, 401K, annual bonus 4-10% of your gross wages. This position does require over time to be worked depending on the plant needs.
I do enforce a "No Drug" policy, with random drug testing being performed.
We prefer to hire a "Team Player" who is willing to learn and works well with others.
Females are also encourged to apply.
You can get more information and location of the power plant at our website.

Well, I guess we no longer have a website for the Griffith Energy power plant. Some heating and oil company now has our website and name.
Fax or email a resume if anybody is interested in the open position.
Thanks
