Just in case anyone hasn't heard, The Washington Contingent is putting on a Labor Day get together. It will be at Blue Lake Resort, Near Moses Lake, Washington. This is an open invitation to all, not just the Freeboard Challenged, but it is a smaller lake, so some of the big hitters might have problems.
We would like to take ove the Resort for the weekend, and currently have 9-10 with reservations, and looks like about 19 boats, right now. They have a total of 80 sites; 21 full hook-ups, 35 water/elec sites, 18 primitive sites, and 10 Tent sites, as well as several rental cabins.
If you are interested in more info check out the Washington Rollcall thread on Just Jet. I'd link it here, but still haven't figured that trick out.

We are having a gathering at Crescent Bar the weekend after Labor day, it started out as outboarders from Scream&Fly and now anyone is welcome. It would be great to get some freeboard challenged boats also.
You might want to post this on NWOfshore.com also, don't let the name fool you, all kinds of boaters are welcome.

Are you staying at Cresent Bar? Hanging out at the Bar or Sand Dune? I'll be up for heading over again for this get together. June 24 were getting together at Moses Lake and might make a day trip of pulling the boats to Cresent Bar or Vantage and hang out at the Sand Dune.

What are the general directions from I-5, about how far from Portland? I don't have any Labor day plans yet, might be able to pop up there for a day. I'm staying flexible this year because of fuel prices(truck burns premium) boat 100LL. :umm:

Check the link in the second post on this thread, it will take you back to the original thread that has the maps and address's for Blue Lake :hammerhea .
I'm in Tacoma, and figure about 3 hours or so, depending on traffic. If you want to drive over on Friday morning, let us know and we can caravan from Tacoma.

We've got reserves @ Laurents for Labor day, trying to get more people to get commit. I've been getting hit by friends for more get togethers, more of a variety of places. I'm still plagued with mechanical challenges, hopefully I'll run this coming weekend. At least I'm saving money on fuel.
