View Full Version : First Pass On New Used Boat

Well today was the first time I ran a drag boat. ItÂ’s the boat I bought in classified; I gave it a good once over and put it in the water. Around 4:00 PM I gave BASS LAKE some noise, it was glass out there, got 3 good passes in and that was plenty for me, what an eye opener that boat is fast. I have a high 8 sec. drag car and this is a whole different beast, not even closes to being as wild as that boat. wow that all I can say is wow lol!!! and im sure my boat is probably slow to most drag boats, it was a wild ride but I loved it Jason

Boats are definately alot different than cars, and they turn hard. :D

Let me know if you ever want to swap over to Carbs, I have a nice set of 850's with regulator, fuel lines, pump, scoop, etc... and I am looking for injection :D . Out of curiousity how was the drive ability with the hat? Are you running gas, or alky? BTW, the boat looks great.

well the guy i got the boat from clams it runs 114 in the 1/4. to be honest i think it will do it. i have ran a lot of fast cars in my day and that boat feels really fast to me!! i know on the water it feels twice as fast but its a cazy fast. i think it too much for me. im just learning how to drive it. it like a whole diffrent type of driving. i have totall respeck for it.
