Your age is going to hurt you a bit but it shouldn't be that bad.(Vette's are usually pretty decent to insure)
I am 28 and pay right at $425.00 every 6 mo.
12 years experience(Since 16)
0 points
0 accidents
upgraded coverage
multi car disc.
persistancy discount
Who are you with how long have you been driving and have you had any accidents or claims?
I have been a lic. personal lines broker/agent for the past 8 years.

To make things worse, studies like the following have been in the news recently: "A National Institutes of Health study suggests that the region of the brain that inhibits risky behavior is not fully formed until age 25, a finding with implications for a host of policies, including the nation's driving laws. "
Good luck! :boxed:

I had quite a few tickets back when I was 16-18 they are all cleared off my record other than this last ticked which clears in september. no accidents 5yrs exp..since 16 because of those tickets insurance got really expensive at one point so I switched from all state who booted me to VIKING..My insurance has now dropped down to $424 every 3 months. for my dodge ram. at one point i was paying $3500 a year..man I regret that..

Mine ran about $600 a year on a 71 Roadster with a 454 and 4 speed 2 or 3 years ago. But I live in Kansas and I'm in my 40's. That was with State Farm. My Chevelle (SS396 / 4 spd) runs me about $350 a year now.

Thats why
Viking is a high risk company not designed to offer good rates on a Z06.
Now that your record is clean it's time for you to shop around.
Allstate,State Farm and Farmers will still be spensive.
I would shoot for Mercury,21st Century and maybe AAA
Geico and progressive sound good on TV but are spensive in the real world.

No problem!
Shop around my guess is that you would be able to find something in the 1600-2500 a year range.
Go with a 500 comp and 1000 collision deductible to help on the rate.(You never want to turn a claim of less than 1K into your insurance comopany anyways.
