Nothing like a nice 21 v-drive river cruiser with a nice twin turbo motor all under the hatch. :D

Ya those are nice too. But I just love those 21's. Not the fastest boat in the world but they ride beautiful and will take a beating.

I would suggest looking for a used V-Drive Schiada for sale. It may be hard to find but, will save some money. You could set up the engine etc. and rig it the way you want it, save money and time compared to new cost.
I have a Schiada 21 foot V-Drive and just love it. I also go to Lake Mead several times a year. It handles the rough water very well. The best skiing is early in the morning. Once the afternoon winds kickup, it can get nasty. Hope you find a Schiada. You'll love it too. - Wavemaker

What is his new wifes name. They were a great couple. The video I took of a speed pass didn't come out to good. I know he lurks. Hows it going Ryan. I sure like the Schiada boats. If I could have two that would be the boat. There is a 10'er on Boatrader right now for $ 3,500.

Union Jack,
My 24' Schiada just got completed not to long ago. It was in Schiada Booth at the LA Boat Show. Schiada goes above and beyond...every detail is custom. They do take some time but well worth the wait. Build time is around 9-12 months. Lee has a very keen eye over the shop. Stan rigs these boats to perfection. Definately not production by any means. Any questions contact me.....I do know of a couple for sale.....

Thanks for the info Holland but that is to soon for us. We are about to have another (LAST) baby and our first trip will be Late June to Havasu. I would really like to check Mead out this summer though. We have to break the little guy in slow so he can acclimate. Maybe we will meet up in Havasu and we can compare well stocked coolers. Nick

Not a GPS guy (don't have one).
But if you like all that math stuff here you go, 5,500 RPM, 37% overdrive in the v drive, 11.5X16" two blade.
It's gonna pick up just a tad this time. ;)

Since I am not very good in math, whats your guess on the top MPH?
Also, since you brought it up whats your guess on the new MPH?
Any new pics on the progress?

I would guess high 80's low 90's before. I think I will run out of balls before the boat runs out of power this time around. Top end is not what I'm after. I want to run 85 - 90 with the engine not even sweating.
Ron Hill is trying to get a 300 mile race at Parker going in October. If he does I plan to run it.
