:D I built a Factory Five car a few years ago. easy assembly, very well designed kit. huge fun to drive. gets a lot of attention anywhere you drive it.

I see you have part number one...But where is part number two through two-thousand???!!! Do you have the frame & suspension parts yet? What drivetrain are you going with? How about an all aluminum LS1 or LS6 Generation lll Chevy motor? Details please! BlewByYou
I was thinking of a 4" square Aluminum tube frame with an aluminum skid plate stichwelded on the very bottom. them I have a mustang II front suspention linned up for $300.00 and an early 90's indapendant thunderbird rear suspention for another $300. bones so that is my suspention and then I was gonna find a big block ford and a 4 speed manual trans out of a donor car or truck! then I will sell the ****er because I will get in way too much trouble with it! :D :D or you can buy it from me now if you like :D :D but if it don't sell I planned on finding a 70s mg or triumph for the odds and ends like lights and seats Maybe windsheild if I can find one to fit with minimal altering! ;) the good thing is I am a fabricator so I can save a shitload of money on this project! I can do the whole thing myself like the frame the headers sidepipes hinges body structure wiring everything! If I get one done before selling it I plan on building and selling the frames with these bodies! I was thinking of painting her white and blue close to scream boat but using the same tribal flame design to establish the rally stripes ending them in front of the interior and starting the rear flame/stripes out of the interior and ending them half way down the ass end and doing a deal with the racing nuber circle you see on these cars with a maltees cross or something like that!! If I get that far!!!

the seams are an isue I hope they get better after the car is trued up on the frame and a draw tight action designed into the hinges and latches should help but you are rite the seams are the biggest issue for me!!!!! They aren't to bad though! I hope to at least have it on the road by the end of july! this thing will be light as hell with an aluminum frame and fuel cell huh? What does you cobra weigh JBB?

Almost nothing...torque twist with a big block is an issue at 90" wheelbase
