Just saw on in the trader last night. Think it was priced at 155K. Don't remember what kind of power it had, but it had twins. Good luck.

150k-180k depending on what it is. The one I test drove this passed weekend was 145k but it was a pig and would cost another 50k plus all the time and headaches to put deceint power in it, might as well go buy a new one...

Not sure if it is still for sale, but Charley's old boat in the 165K range is a nice choice...and it is not a pig...pm summer obsession on the boards....and he has it listed in boat trader...white boat w/Tribal Blue positive and reverse flames...paint it if you don't like it and still be far ahead versus new.

Dumb question: Have you contacted Dave either about a used one he may know of or a delivery time on a new one?
I may know of a SWEET F-26 on the silent market right now in that price range.:rollside:

If somebody pays 150K for a used F26, it better have a whole lot of engine and break 125, otherwise it would be overpriced in my opinion.

and the all white open-bow with merc 900's for 160K obo is deal IF it checks out OK. Was talking with Bob Leach over the weekend. He was saying his COST on 1075/#6 packages are over a 1/4 MILLION dollars his COST...before any dealer markup. The milk truck is a deal for just the hardware alone. Now, the insurance is a whole different issue.

Pay cash....and insure it for a value you are comfortable with to bring down the cost...Although you may not be able to replace it for that lower value, but you would not be able to for 160K anyway....

What if you did the regular finance deal, then you could insure it for the loan value right?Seems like to good of a boat to let go.....sure wish it didnt have a hole in the bow.

Yep loan value...but if you pay cash, you insure for an agreed to value...
Fill the hole and paint it, or leave it white, or put some grey stripes on it and call it DCBLing...
Either way, you are away ahead for what the hardware cost...

DCBLing...thats just wrong! LOL
Now if you paid cash and insure for agreed value, dont you think you could do the same with finance and agreed value.Either way I would want it to be covered to the max if i had the cash or finance wrapped up into it?Right? Cash or financed agreed value would still be "agreed" value right?Or would you pay cash and put the value way less than you paid...risky but very doable(sp?)
