Good ole Marvin picked up all of his parts from the powder coater. Futs, yours will look the same, just pink instead of blue. Here is a pic of some:

these pics dont do the powdercoat any justice. they turned out sweeeeeeeeeeeet. im gonna use the same type of base on futs parts, with the dark clear purple finish. the powdercoater is doing all my stuff himself, and its all flowing perfect, no orange peel at all. he even cut 50$ off my price today. these parts are coming out way better than the last stuff i did, and that stuff was nice. futs, i should have your parts in a few weeks. i ended up paying $400 for all of mine, but i ordered a speacial paint and that tacked onn a bunch, pluse i did way more parts than you. these pics are just a few off the parts i did. you will be very happy....

i get it done at BELL POWDERCOATING, in Ventura, CA. i met the manager a few years ago, and he has done a few boats for me now. he hooks me up w/ some sweet deals. they do a lot of industrial stuff, so latley ive had to be more patient. it took about four weeks this time, because they have been so bussy. they were doing a few hundred JBL speaker grills today, while i was there. the dude has always gone way out of his way to make sure things are masked and blasted the way i want, and this last set of parts looks like freakin jewlery. if anyone needs work done, i can hook it up.
vic, i have a few old chevys laying arround. i have always prefered chevys to fords. besides being better and easier, parts are plentifull, parts selection is better, and parts are a whole lot cheaper. im just one of those guys who is now runnin what i was stuck with. the ford i have is a work of art, that someone before me spent a fortune on. it has all the best garbage in it, and makes a grip of HP. Ken Dutweiler did a good job on it. id be a fool not to run it. the chevys layin about, are not all that great. theres a mild one on the stand waitin to get put together for my roomates boat, but he's lazy. its been in pieces for years. the other two are a 454 w/ a bad bearing, and a 401 AKA 396 that i havent been able to talk anyone into takin out of my garage. if it helps my standing in the chevy lovers eyes, my ford has some chevy parts in it.... but it also has chreysler parts in it too.

damn, i was hoping that stuff was in brooski's shop. hopin i could have made a better deal with him on that derby car deal. if your really giving that 396 away, ill take it off your hands. and if your going to sell the 454 with the bad bearing let me know. i may need it.

A better deal on the Derby Car? We have a deal already, I think.
Anyway, in my "shop" I have only for you Vic if you are interested:
1) 2 Bolt Main 454 Block, needs a sleave in one cylinder which has a crack (A piece of the valve got stuck between the wall and piston)
2) 2-BBC oval port truck heads, small valve (needs some valves, see above)
I will PM you the rest of what I have for a 67 Chevy 350.

I want to know why you cheaped out and powder coated? You SHOULD have polished all of it so you spend every spare second cleaning off water spots! Looks good.... :D
