If she is 19 and only modeling swim wear I don't see any harm in it. If the pictures are really isturbing then I would maybe talk to her to make sure she is comfortable with what she is doing.(Make sure she isn't having finnancial issues and doing it only for the $$)

I've done alot of things that my parents know nothing about but i'm a guy so it's a little different. Girls on the other hand are always looking for attention and if they are'nt getting it from home (where they should be getting it from) they will go and get it from doing god knows what. If you at all consider what we do as a "boating community" then "WE" must take care of eachother and not sell out one another for thrills or a quick buck. I've got two little sisters and I can tell you it takes constant work to keep their heads on straight. Tell your friend about his daughter. Either he's fine with it or this mabey be a good time for him to step up and be a parent instead of a friend.

I could'nt dissagree with you more. And secondly if you think a 19 year old girl is capable of supporting herself without any regrets then i'd say you don't know any. First it's $1,000 for showing up in a bathing suit. Then it's 5k a week for stripping. This is'nt in all cases. But it's alot easier than min. wage at hot dog on a stick. I'm 28 and have seen it and dated alot of hot girls with F'ed up pasts. They never seem to get over what they had to do to make a buck. As a family you share the responisabilty to do the right thing weather it's easy or hard. Does it really hurt to tell him? If you have to ask other people then you you know what you should do. What can it hurt.

Do you know any models or dated any? The poor girls think a smile and a nice ass will get them through life. I've dated many in the past. While the rest of us are working or being educated for work these girls are looking for someone to take care of them because they have no other skills than looking hot. Our country was founded by Puritans and conservitive religious followers... It's reflected in our laws (most vice is outlawed), and our view of "normal" social behavior.
The "Old World" has a completely different view of the body and what is considered "normal" behavior and socialy acceptable.

You mostly right. Your age is a good thing, don't be so defensive, I know where you coming from, but being younger you have seen some of this a little more than the others on here. Just know that it does'nt stop at 18. I'm 28 and have done well and have seen hard times but would have never done as well if it was'nt for my dad puttin his foot in my ass when I f'ed up. I really think i'll learn from my parents even after their gone. I thank god for them being a pain in the ass all my life. But I agree that the young card sucks and all I can say is now that i'm looking at having kids within a couple of years from now I do think more about this stuff and am less idealistic.

I'm not at all a prude. My wife will be out in a bikini this weekend in havasu in fact. I never said this girl will be in porn next. But what I am saying is that the model industry feeds on little girls with hot bodies and spits them out. They have allready tried it on my sisters and failed because of our strong family bond. I could'nt dissagree with you more. And secondly if you think a 19 year old girl is capable of supporting herself without any regrets then i'd say you don't know any. First it's $1,000 for showing up in a bathing suit. Then it's 5k a week for stripping. This is'nt in all cases. But it's alot easier than min. wage at hot dog on a stick. I'm 28 and have seen it and dated alot of hot girls with F'ed up pasts. They never seem to get over what they had to do to make a buck. As a family you share the responisabilty to do the right thing weather it's easy or hard. Does it really hurt to tell him? If you have to ask other people then you you know what you should do. What can it hurt.

Lot's of hotties in yucapia. Very true statement. Parents are often sellfish and are'nt proactive enough in their kids life. More worried about buying crap instead of finishing what they created. Fact is every minute that goes by is a chance to make things right. I'm just talking about communication. What's wrong with that? Let's give this dad a chance to know what's going on and support his daughter so that she can succed in what ever she does. My past includes 2 hawaian tropic girls ,1 miss socal a couple of clothing designers and models and a couple of wanna be's. All were under 25 and thought looks would get them everywhare. I was raised different.

I imported my girlfriend from Russia and have taught her that peices of wood you find washed up on the beach are far more valuable than clear,red and green gems.
I also taught her how to use an American ruler - take what ever number you measured and multiply it X 2.
All her friends think I am 12ft tall and 10 inches long. :D

One thing you need to remember is that we live in the epicenter of most things corrupt and fake.(So Cal.)
Alot of the things that people see on TV we get to live on a daily basics.(Ferraris,Gucci bags,Channel glasses,etc...)
You make alot of good points in regards to family and the way people should be raising there children.I tend to think your idealistic views will change when your daughters turn 14 (If you have any).
I applaud your values and can understand from the post above why you have alot of the viewpoints you do.
You strike me as someone that loves to help or change someone(Very noble).If that's not the case why would you keep dating the same girls that you have problems with?(You named no fewer than 8 girls that are in one way or another assosiated with the entertainment buissness)
I tend to learn from my mistakes.(How does the saying go? "fool me once shame on you fool be twice shame on me"
As far as my background:

I tend to be attracted to women that are not concerned with how they look 24hrs aday.I like women that will feel just as at home in an evening gown as they would helping me on my boat/car or on a overnight camping trip.
