Right now it looks like it might be up to 3 gates open. Lots of big boats blowing by.

From what I read this last week the flow was at 11500 and next week it will be close to 12000 cfm a few weeks back it was at a low of 6000. look at the post in the west about jets and water levels.

Pics are from a few weeks ago at our house. Parker has been full, as water is being let out of Havasu(full) Needles area has been extremely low ( lowest at our place in 10 years) But is coming back up. London Jet made it to Havi and back no problem. If you do not know the river, go south from bridge. Jim
notice ramp out of water...all winter

Well when I was out there last weekend, On Saturday 03/19 the water level was so low I dragged the boat down to Windsor to launch. When I got back to Mohave Valley, the water level was on the rise at a pretty good clip. On Sunday 03/19 the level looked a lot better but I thought I would wait a little longer before I launched locally. I had lunch at Topock and spoke with the new owner. He said the water had come up enough to float in the new dock in on Monday. When I was leaving for the O.C.Monday 03/20 the level looked OK.
I expect it will be fine I plan on launching there this week :). Also this was posted in another thread yesterday
I heard they finally stopped releasing mud (water) from Lake Alamo so Havi by the Springs and the river are clearing up. :)
I think this was the reason for the lower flow rates out of Davis Dam. I expect the flows from Davis dam will be getting back to normal now.

As Jim said, and i will repeat...if you do not know the river well,go south from Needles marina. As i said, the Londen Jets had no problem making it down...if you do not know the river well, stay to Needles and south of bridge. We watch a lot of people hit rock bars that are not always evident. Good luck and have fun! Jill

Looks like there are 4 gates open at the dam. Lots of water, but some debris floating, due to the high water level. Weather beautiful.
