Ok, we're all proud of our jets...so what about the other honey(s) who ride shotgun and help with the waxing? This idea just dawned on me. So, who wants to share?
Guess I'll start since this is my twisted thread. Here's mine...

Tasteful photos only. Ok, never mind that. Tasteless just fine if honey approves. Well, ok, if she doesn't approve, submit at your own risk... Multiple shots are welcome of course :)

LV: Neat idea. I'm presently in the market for a new shotgun rider myself. The thought of a helper to clean & wax, where do I find one of these. Altho Kiwi Legend said it best. Maybe another Shepard is in order, excellent loyalty you can't beat.

This shot taken from the same rock (other direction, a giant bowl shaped thing that made a killer amphitheater...
DT,
Sorry, I thought by "there" you meant where that picture was taken http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif I do live in Vegas right now and run the Dragn at Callville or the Temple. Are you in Vegas too?

Eeyowww!!
Nice boat! Now just get a shot of the 2 honeys together and you'll have it all goin' on.
I like the style of your hull. Is that a faster design when the transom positions the pump further back? Since that would also move the inlet rearward too. I'm still kinda new to this stuff myself.

Ok, here's two honeys http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif
http://www.cedarcountyia.com/imghost/TwoHoneys.jpg
The hull's a 91 Placecraft (mod tunnel) Don't know if the setback makes it faster, but I think it looks cool. I do know that it runs faster than many hulls with the same hp. Unfortunately, Placecraft discontinued that setback hull in 92 I think, and not sure if they sold or destroyed the mold. Now I believe PC's are the straight-back design...if still being made?

FatRat...yep, those are Powell. You're gonna love it! I never left the bay by the marina, but after two days on the lake still had tons of coves to explore. Had a blast! Found a cave at water level, stuck the business end of the dragn up in there and nailed it...sounded like a top fueler comin' off the line! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif
DD,
Thanks for the comments. No wedding bells here, but she's a sweetheart. Best thing is, she loves JETS and SPEED...plus mixes killer blender drinks http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif Maybe we'll all hook up at a jet rally...say a west-east coast blowout at Powell next season? Yaaaaa...
So....anyone else have pictures to share?

MoPar,
Left Coast does have some awesome lakes. I was in the military for awhile, so I've boated the East (Ohio, Kentucky, Tenn, Virginia) even skied the great lakes. My favorite on the right side was Dale Hollow and Cumberland...nice water (especially Cumberland) and lots of coves and miles of shoreline. Second would be Anna, but that nuclear reactor(?) kinda spooked me http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif
Anyway, Powell is like something out of a special effects movie. Sheer cliffs, giant rocks towering out of the middle of the water, natural stone arches, and water so clear you just want to drink it...definitely worth the trip if anyone's considering. I wish I'd gone sooner.
HotRod,
Thanks for sharing. About your honey... pretty face and all, but umm, did she like loose the bottom half of her body in a terrible accident? Sorry, didn't mean to get personal and all... ok, just forget I said that http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif

LVjetboy,
Nice pics bro. I've been on the entire river at one time or another and Powell is awesome! When I was kid we used to go camping and fishing there. The sites are almost unbelievable.
On another note, I'm considering a move to Vegas. The only thing giving me reservations is the job market. What do you do there? I was going to email you but it's not on your profile.

Hi Brian,
Here's my email: lvjetboy@lvcm.com
I work for Southwest Airlines. Turns out a good company to work for right now. Casinos took a big hit after WTC, and all major airlines cut 20% except SW...SW keeps on a flyin'...zero layoffs and one billion(!! say what?) in cash reserves...enough to last a year at reduced loads without employee layoff. Not that you'd hear it on CNN, where doom and gloom is king. But that's another subject.
Anyway, my thoughts on LV:
Growing at 5k per month. Except for this temporary slowdown, I think will sustain growth for at least another 5-10 years...then run out of water and land. So job prospects are good in the recovery (from WTC), mostly service oriented...few technical. I originally planned to retire here after being stationed at Nellis in '85, but with growth problems and valley politics (driven by out-of-control developement) I'm now considering elsewhere. Investment wise, it's a great place, because when they run out of land...presto...another LA and overpriced real estate. Quality of life may be another issue at that point, but that's relative to where you live now.
The important thing, at least to me, is the lake. Lake Mead is a wonderful place to boat, about 35-45 minutes from LV. There's natural sand beaches and NO development on the shoreline other than marinas (BLM land). So that means lots of privacy and freedom to roam without the law beathing down your transom. Water quality is excellent (clear enough to see your feet), although development in the valley...drained into the lake...is slowly starting to compromise that too with occasional summer algea blooms. But it's still a great lake and will be in the future.
Sorry to post out of the original thread, but LV is near and dear to my heart.

Hot Rod, I don't want to sound cruel, but I can't tell if your wife is large or your boat is small. Something doesn't look right. Also, why aren't there any ripples in the water from your boat? Does it float on air or what? I'll have to check it out next summer at the East coast jetters thing-a-mcbob-doohickey-party.

NO wife!!
But you know how those women can have such a big head, the proof is in the pic http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif
When I get a real pic I'll be glad to share.
