whats up dustin,
1/4" sounds about right, but jumping from 1/4 to 5/8 is way to big of a change. you need to make some shims for the shoe and lower 1/16" at a time, if you take to big of a bite you'll lift the transom and push the nose down, and when the nose shoves down at 90 plus it coul get ugly. what is your intake pressure now.
p.s. jim brock who owns cyclone speed and marine has a southwind tunnel. my buddy allan the notorious miller killer says he reaaly knows his shit, so maybe he can help us out.

Hey, Sam do you know this Jim Brock phone# so I could give him a call. We went up on the ride plate but it didn't really seem to help a buddy of mine who runs a similar hull said that he sets his rideplate and his tunnels at the same degree. He said that he had the same probably and going up on the tunnel plates helped. He said by leaving the tunnel plates a 1 degree they are still holding the boats nose down? Seems to make since. Well let me know what you find out. I appreciate the help.
