Billet Odyssey 1700 battery box

I stop by my builder today, and they inform me they need a "stringer mount" battery box, so my nice new floor mounts will be of no use.
These are brand new in bubble wrap and I will make someone a very nice deal and p/u the charges for regular ground shipping. PM me if interested :D

Odyssey Batteries can be mounted sideways...I am thinking your builder does not want to install them sideways...

I would venture to say that there would be too much stain on that battery box if you were to mount it on its side.

That might be the case, but it would also depend if it was mounted completely off the floor and causing the box to take all the weight....I just meant to clarify that the battery could be mounted sideway...now the box depends..
D, did you ever get hooked up for a place for Memorial?

Not cheap, I would guess at $180+, but I would have to double check the receipt at home. Sorry I could not wait for yours RD :squiggle:

D, did you ever get hooked up for a place for Memorial?
It was for my buddy. I can always stay at Echo (which is probably where I will be). I decided to stay out of the middle of trying to find him a place to stay. Seems like every time I get in the middle of situations like this, something stange always happens. Besides, I told him 2 months ago to start looking for a place, but he drug his feet. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it! :)

I was just curious as to what the going price would be on something like that. :) No worries on waiting, I've been dragging my feet on this project for awhile. Made quite a few aesthetic changes from my original design as well. You'll see what I mean later on today when I post the group 24 boxes I just came out with. :)

I would ask your builder to whip up some angle brackets and mount them using the boxs you have now. If he can't swing that he should be called a bolter, not a builder. lol
