Now that I've spent hours and hours downloading music on my iPod, what is the best way to backup my library?

by default, your library should already exist in 2 places... on your ipod, and on the hard drive of the PC where the tunes came from. So if you're asking about how to back up the files on your PC, just grab a couple of blank CDs and burn all of the MP3s in the library to CD. Or if you have access to a DVD writer, you can get more MP3s per disc that way.
Hope that helps,
Chris

Phebus did you try look at ipod lounge web site. A lot of info there maybe you can find it there with a little research. I found that you can download your ipod to the computer with a couple of programs out there if you loss your info on the computer.

Thanks for the link. I thought the music was loaded to the iPod, and you couldn't download from your iPod, but that program sure would come in handy if something happened to your library.

try this software if you have to upload from your ipod to computer. Also from the ipod lounge website you can go to downloads and find alot of programs to use.
