I get the Biggest Kick out of the Fact these guy's are Launching there Boats off the Shoreline. if I tried that at my Local Lake the Trailer would sink 4 Feet into the MUD :idea:
don't think CFW has any Stinkin' Noise Laws (yet)

How are they about the noise law there.
Has there been any problems.
Camp Far West has always been laid back about noise enforcement and speed limits (<---speeds inside Quarter Mile Cove), and this is in part why any kind of insane boat may be found out there on any almost any day.
In regards to the 2005 enforcement of the new noise level law, Dragboats posted that a friend of his has the local county sherriff's vehicle maintenance account, and that the consensus among most of the county sherriff's in the NorCal region is that they won't be making a point to enforce it...but I bet it will likely be something they keep in their arsenal and opt to exercise against an unruly individual that is being particularly mouthy/uncoopereative, etc.
I have run there twice now this season with no baffles in my headers...without issue.
But...HUD posted that the encroaching, neighboring community is beginning to complain about noise, and it has been asked that we don't fire motors before something like 9:am or after sunset.
I don't understand how people can live so close to such wonderful public recreation and then complain about it....

I live right by the River here south of the Avi and can hear boats all day long and its music to my ears. Some people just don't know good music from bad, beats Bach!!!

Lets all pray it stays that way they put a restriction on the hours the noise can be made but not the noise yet as far as I know Im working on an area by clearlake if anyone is interested, there are several small lakes around the area and no comunnities, houseing or people. Just a thought
