If I was to put new lifters in my bitch, 460, I don't have to change the cam as well, right ??

new cam-new lifters
new lifters can go on new or old cam.

Not only that but if you put the old cam back into the motor with the old lifters, you'll need to make sure you put each lifter back where they came from. Personally I use old egg cartons marked with the cylinder numbers for this.
