Speaker Location Help???

Alright u Gurus!! here are some pics of my choices..the boat currently has just 2 6x9's under the rear seat...now I was gonna put 2 or 3 10's where the 6x9s currently are or I can put them in 2 other spots, I have 2 storage compartments where the ice chests go..I can fit a square box for the kicker S12L5's one on each compartment..but will these subs being in another compartment effect the sound??? Or I can put them by the base of the driver and passenger seat theres two little compartments where I can have a custom box made on each side...which for the position in the boat I figured would sound great.. and then in the bow I could put 6x9s on the floor...or by where the cup holders go??? let me know some suggestions...thanks in advance. :messedup:

Did you kill somebody in that boat or go tuna fishing or something? lol :D
You want to mount your mids and highs as high on the boat as you can. They will sound a lot better. The subs won't make as big as a difference as the highs.

haha..u would thing huh?? nope..I bought it like that..carpet was shot when I bought it..sat in the rain..and there stains in place I have no clue how they could get there...!! lol...I have been detailing the whole thing all weekend..finished the outside.and the upholstery..now tommorow..the carpet..!! its gonna be a huge task.. :burningm:

yeah..sooo much...I was going to pay to have the whole thing done..but I need to save all I can with gas prices...so far about 20hrs of sweat..4 hands and alot of Magic Eraser on the interior..thank god for that stuff..the capet is gonna be a bitch!! :burningm:

i have an open bow too and i have 8 - 6x9's with the 2 12" subs in the area in front of the driver and passenger where you put your feet hidden behind a false wall.... overall the system sounds good, but ii might add some seperates up higher in the future.... hope this helps with some ideas

Well I figured I would put my front 6x9's in the bow by the cup holder compartment...with extra wire, so when im parked I can bring the up on top of the boat..and I dont have to cut out holes..and there high enough in the boat to be heard well.http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/916boat_pics_017.jpg
