How much do you pay your Babysitter for a afternoon dinner and a movies type of gig We have a local babysitter NOW :rollside: (my bosses daughter) she says just to pay her whatever or nothing :confused: Keep in mind she will probably watch the kids 2 maybe 3 and half hours and then they are sleeping for the rest of the time OH yeah i have 3 2-1/2 year olds

I have two kids and pay $5.00 an hour and round up for the time.

a friend. we usually pay $100.00 a night.. but that's if they are staying over.
I would say at least minimum wage. ;) but that's my opinion.. not that mine matters. :D

But usually we paid around 20-25 bucks for an evening..of maybe 3 hours or so. But that was for just one child.

I used to babysit for friends and they paid me what ever but that was a minimum of $25 bucks and for me even if that was for more than one kid and that was fine. Think about it for a minute, the time that the kids sleep she is more than likely on the phone, eating your food or doing whatever. So if your kids like her and want her to come back to watch them then throw a few extra bucks in every once in a while if she doesnt give you a set price. I always appriciated what I got. She would not continue to sit for you if you were not paying enought or she didnt like your kids.

pay ours $60.00 each time. Sometimes for four (4) hours and sometimes ten (10). It equals out nice and you don't have to worry about counting hours. :cool:
