Is my 502 mag running hot??

Hello all!!!
I am new to the board, and have a question. I have a 99 sleek craft enforcer with a stock 502 mag mpi. It runs right at 180 degrees when moving, and drops down to about 175 at idle. It has never gone over 180. Is this a little on the warm side? Thanks in advance for any help, and see you on the lakes!!

but if you haven't changed your impeller Chang it before it cost you

That sounds about right. My 496 runs just under 180 Deg.

I agree, change the impeller once per year and anytime you suck up weeds or sand and the engine gets hot.
