Slot - The bracket has a 3 screw base that slides out from the backside. The quickpin is what holds it in place. When you pull the pin to use the the extinguisher, the whole bracket comes with it. The bracket mounts around the extinguisher and then it slides on to the 3 screw base. The quick pin holds it together. It's a bitchen design, we just have these left over from last season. Good buy - It's roughly 50 percent off.

We do in house powder coat, so I'll start stripping some of the red ones and we'll let you guys choose custom colors..same price. that's a great price for those. once you get your hands on one you will see what I mean. They also have some s.s. pins to locate the top to the base so they don't flop around.

If you choose to cut the red even more, I'll take one.

Thanks for the orders guys!! We have one 3" left, it's red now, but we'll modify the color if necessary. I also found one 2 5/8" unit that works with the 1 pound extinguishers. This one needs to go - $50.00. Great for a hot rod, trailer, sandcar, garage, etc.. 1lb is not legal for marine use. You can buy 1 lb chrome extinguishers from Walmart in their automotive section for roughly $40.00

No mystery here, These are Rex brackets. Some time ago we bought a volume of them. We haven't had luck selling them. We already had our own design but we had some OEM's specifically request this unit. Anyways, they were just left over stock. Thanks to all you guys on the boards we now have none left in stock. Thanks again, Bob
