So now that I have a new wall I need two gates installed. Looking for a good gate builder. Rod iron, steel, heck even aluminum if I can afford it. Any recomendations?

What price per foot did you get? Brigewater is quoting me $60/ft for a standard 4inch block fence.

There is a local guy in town called German Wrought Iron. His name is steve. He did a gate and spiral staircase for me to my observation deck. Everything he does is custom. If you are looking for quality work he's the guy I would go with. Let me know if you want more details

I'll recommend Steve also at German Wrought Iron. He is doing a double driveway gate and a 4' Garden Gate for us.

Don't you mean 8" block?.. $53/running foot is standard for 5' high wall with pillars. Who was Rob using?

American Iron Works does nice work. Good folks too. Show up, get it done.
That would be wrought iron I believe

One of my best friends Jason Lee owns a block wall company in LHC called Another Blockwall Company and does awesome work. Check out pics of my backyard......he did the retaining wall and everything and saved me over $5000.http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/1267DCP_3322.JPG http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/1267DCP_3323.JPG
I would highly recommend to call him for a bid or atleast a second opinion on your current bid. (928) 486-5787

Not sure exactly what we paid per foot. But it was just a tad over $11k for the whole wall. And it is a whole lotta wall. Heres some pics.

Thanks! Can't wait to have a pool volleyball tourney this summer. That pic was taken 1 day after we filled it with water for the first time. We haven't even gotten to enjoy the pool much yet but have used the hell outta the jacuzzi so far.

not sure if you are into DIY but check out www.fence-depot.com
Aluminum would rarely ever require painting..would never get rusty anyway..is much lighter but not quite as secure.
Not sure about your part of the world but getting anyone around here to return a call or show up is nearly impossible. Good Luck.

Here in phoenix, they run 4" block with 8" collums so many feet apart. The quotes out here are ~$24/ ft. There is no need to do 8" block unless it is a retaining wall, which it isn't.

If you are still looking to have your gates built give my aunt a call. Her husband does custom fabrication and would give you a great deal.
